Hiten Bhuta is an Indian entrepreneur, community leader, keynote speaker, author and an inspirational coach.[1] Hiten is the founder and CEO of CGS Group which is one of the leading software companies, with software development centers in India, the USA and the UAE, serving more than 5,000 clients in 40 countries.[2][3][4][5]

Hiten has been a participant and keynote speaker in multiple notable conferences in the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia.[6][7] Hiten has authored four books namely I see God in You, The Sacred Message, The Ultimate Unity, and Mindful Business.[8] He is also a recipient of several awards and has been featured in several media outlets including Gulf News, Economic Times, The Hindu and Insight Business.[9]

Early life and education

Hiten was born at his maternal uncle's village home in Damnagar, in Amreli district of Gujarat, India. Hiten was born in a Pustimargiya Vaishnav faith and Kapol community to Haresh Bhuta and Sushila Bhuta. Bhuta’s father was an entrepreneur who owned a steel factory along with the import-export business. His mother was a spiritual devotee, who taught Hiten most of the Indian cultural and spiritual philosophy.

Hiten studied in Gujarati medium school in Mumbai and later he completed his junior college at the Mithibai College. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in engineering, majoring in electronics and communication from the K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, graduating in 1992. Hiten successfully completed a year-long executive program at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2011 and post-graduate executive program from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad.[10][11]

Career

In 1995, Hiten founded CGS Infotech, a technology & media company specialising in Software Development, Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, Website Design, Software Development, Pay Per Click - Google Adwords, Social Media and Facebook Optimization, Web-Hosting, and Domain Name Registration.[12]

Bhuta is a co-founder & member of editorial board of Hotel Vikas magazine, Mr. Hiten Bhuta plays an active role in articulating technology trends for the hospitality industry.[13]

Hiten also serves as National Committee Member of IT at FICCI which is India's largest chamber of commerce.[14] He regularly leads FICCI trade delegations around the world.[15][16] He has also made significant contributions in conducting Experiential Training Program in St. Louis, MO. Hiten is a Technology Mentor at US-IIC - a US Commercial Foreign Services supported organization. He participated in the SelectUSA summit in 2018.[17]

Hiten has also conducted scholarly research into business, management and technology.[18] His research papers demonstrate the depth of his understanding of the subject matter and extraordinary contribution to respective fields. He holds two patents on the software related to gamification and reputation management.

This is a spiritually based book that offers insightful real-life results and hands-on applications to deal with life's pressures. It encapsulates the essence of the myriad worlds of human knowledge, history, desire, logic, dream, obsession, habit, and the eternal question of reality.

  • Mindful Business, published in 2020

This book is a collection of articles that leverages positive thoughts and constructive business practices in order to deal with life and business by establishing a connection between the two. Apart from that Hiten’s articles have also appeared in popular business to business magazine like Hotel Vikas, Kapol Mitra and Kapol Samaj Darpan. Apart from that Hiten regularly publishes his scholarly articles on Linkedin Pulse, Medium and Academia.Edu.

Personal life

Bhuta is married to Alpa, who is an integral part of Sarkar Charitable Foundation, which was started by her along with Hiten. She is a chairperson of Health Division Of Sakar Foundation and oversees implementation of healthy living ideas.
