Hiswar is a small village of 677.9 hectares in Tanda Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hiswar depends on Tanda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Hiswar's pin code is 224143[4], and village code is 06027400. The area of Hiswar is segregated as , 100 hectares unirrigated area. the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tanda (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell terracotta and make their living.
