Hathounda is a small village of 10.75 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hathounda depends on kotawa sarak, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hathounda's pin code is 225405[4], and village code is 05818600. The area of Hathounda is segregated as 139.805 hectares irrigated area, 20.1 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Hathounda has One post office (Hathaunda S.O). Hathounda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Hathounda is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2381 and has total administration over 459 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kotawa sarak and Barabanki to sell peppermint and make their living.
