Hargarh is a small village of 646.5 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hargarh depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. Hargarh is also near byOne lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Hargarh's pin code is 212302[4], and village code is 05622100. The area of Hargarh is segregated as 159 hectares irrigated area, 166 hectares unirrigated area. the 213 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Hargarh is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1760 and has total administration over 254 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
