Gurana is a small village of 245 hectares in Baraut Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gurana depends on Baraut (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Gurana's pin code is 250611[4], and village code is 01045200. The area of Gurana is segregated as 418 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 418 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gurana has One post office (Baraut H.O) and Fourteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Gurana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Gurana is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4746 and has total administration over 748 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
