Gura is a small village of 179.6 hectares in Bidhuna Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gura depends on Bidhuna (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 101.25% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Gura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gura's pin code is 206243[4], and village code is 04103400. The area of Gura is segregated as 101.25 hectares irrigated area, 373 hectares unirrigated area. the 48.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 25.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bidhuna (NP) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
