Gothia is a small village of 5.28 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gothia depends on Zaidpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gothia's pin code is 225414[4], and village code is 05777900. The area of Gothia is segregated as 353.72 hectares irrigated area, 21.34 hectares unirrigated area. the 4.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 13.23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gothia has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Gothia is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2034 and has total administration over 359 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Zaidpur (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
