Gosupur is a small village of 201 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gosupur depends on Haidergarh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gosupur's pin code is 225124[4], and village code is 05863700. The area of Gosupur is segregated as 7.212 hectares irrigated area, 0.15 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.822 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
