Gosadi is a small village of 667 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gosadi depends on Sarai Mir (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gosadi's pin code is 276305[4], and village code is 08764800. The area of Gosadi is segregated as 299 hectares irrigated area, 300 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sarai Mir (NP) and Azamgarh to sell jaggery and make their living.
