Gopi is a small village of 1663 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopi depends on akarabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 300.00% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gopi's pin code is 204215[4], and village code is 01384000. The area of Gopi is segregated as 1400 hectares irrigated area, 100 hectares unirrigated area. the 100 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.
