Gopalpur is a small village of 267.5 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopalpur depends on Chharra Rafatpu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gopalpur's pin code is 202127[4], and village code is 01334000. The area of Gopalpur is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 126 hectares unirrigated area. the 65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
