Gopalpur is a small village of 88 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopalpur depends on Phaphund (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Gopalpur is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gopalpur's pin code is 206121[4], and village code is 04153300. The area of Gopalpur is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 36 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.
