Gonniya Chhapra is a small village of 420 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gonniya Chhapra depends on Ranigaj, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gonniya Chhapra's pin code is 277208[4], and village code is 09301600. The area of Gonniya Chhapra is segregated as 375 hectares irrigated area, 45 hectares unirrigated area.
