Gold Coast Force Futsal, is a futsal club based in Gold Coast City. The club was founded in 2017 by owner John Buick. The Force are currently the Australian Futsal Club Championship, Champions.

History

Gold Coast Force was founded in 2017. In their first season Force won Series Futsal Queensland and also went on to win Series Futsal Nationals going undefeated. [1]

In 2019 Gold Coast Force became the first team to win the Australian Futsal Club Championship (AFCC) beating Inner West Magic (NSW) in the Finals at Valentine Sports Park, 7-3. [2]

Late 2019 Gold Coast Force played Oceania Football Confederation Champions Solomon Islands national futsal team in a exhibition game in preparation for the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup. The Force produced a massive upset winning the game 7-5. [3]

As of January 2020, Gold Coast Force became the first team to win the Gold Coast International (formerly Craig Foster Cup) back to back both 2019 and 2020. In 2018 they were runners up. [4]

In 2020 Gold Coast Force Futsal won 102.9 Hot Tomato & myGC People's Choice (Gold Coast Team of the Year). [5]
