Gokula is a small village of 90 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gokula depends on BHITARIA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gokula's pin code is 225404[4], and village code is 05808700. The area of Gokula is segregated as 4.9 hectares irrigated area, 30 hectares unirrigated area. the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHITARIA and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
