Gogla is a small village of 816 hectares in Jhadol Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gogla depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 80.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Gogla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gogla's pin code is 313702[4], and village code is 03122400. The area of Gogla is segregated as 130 hectares irrigated area, 190 hectares unirrigated, the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 100 hectare area not available for cultivation.
