Ghurghutta is a small village of 410.7 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghurghutta depends on Nanpara (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghurghutta's pin code is 271865[4], and village code is 06449000. The area of Ghurghutta is segregated as 53.39 hectares irrigated area, 56 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 301.657 hectare area not available for cultivation.
