Gheenpur is a small village of 401 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gheenpur depends on Mau Aima (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gheenpur's pin code is 212507[4], and village code is 05402400. The area of Gheenpur is segregated as 678 hectares irrigated area, 19 hectares unirrigated area. the 24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 107 hectare area not available for cultivation.
