Get A House For Free is a British factual television series which is presented by Marco Robinson and produced by Boom Cymru.[1]
The first episode broadcasted on Channel 4 on 8th August 2017.[2]
Programme
Property Investor, Marco Robinson is giving away a 3 bedroom apartment in Preston, Lancashire, worth £120,000.[3][4] Marco was homeless as a child, living on park benches with his Mother. Marco spent 6 weeks meeting applicants, the show received more than 8000 applications for the television programme. Marco met with Jo, who lost her eyesight, Mahmood and his two sons who were seeking asylum and Holly who was living in a flat with her daughter.[5][6][7][8]. Holly won and received the apartment. Mahmood and his sons was given a home until they waited to be granted for Asylum seeker|asylum and Jo received a deposit to buy her own home.[9]
