Gehendavar is a small village of 292.1 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gehendavar depends on Satrikh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gehendavar's pin code is 225122[4], and village code is 05769200. The area of Gehendavar is segregated as 160 hectares irrigated area, 81.2 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 21.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.
