Gayaghat is a small village of 14.22 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gayaghat depends on Nanpara (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gayaghat's pin code is 271865[4], and village code is 06448300. The area of Gayaghat is segregated as 150 hectares irrigated area, 680 hectares unirrigated area. the 6.125 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 1.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
