Gauriya is a small village of 321 hectares in Ramnagar Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gauriya depends on Dewa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gauriya's pin code is 225208[4], and village code is 05755700.

Gauriya has Five public telephones. Gauriya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
