Gauripur is a small village of 294 hectares in Baghpat Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gauripur depends on Baghpat (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gauripur's pin code is 250345[4], and village code is 01056000. The area of Gauripur is segregated as 264 hectares irrigated area. the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
