Gangapur is a small village of 271.9 hectares in Balrampur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gangapur depends on SRI NAGER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 150.54% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gangapur's pin code is 271201[4], and village code is 06638700. The area of Gangapur is segregated as 261.82 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
