Galha Mau is a small village of 50 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Galha Mau depends on Satrikh (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. Galha Mau is also near byOne lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Galha Mau's pin code is 225121[4], and village code is 05770000. The area of Galha Mau is segregated as 411.2 hectares irrigated area, 50 hectares unirrigated area. the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 39.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Galha Mau is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2834 and has total administration over 475 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Satrikh (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
