Gahabara is a small village of 588 hectares in Naraini Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gahabara depends on Naraini (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gahabara's pin code is 210129[4], and village code is 04844300. The area of Gahabara is segregated as 31 hectares irrigated area, 428 hectares unirrigated area. the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Naraini (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
