Faruhwa is a small village of 224.4 hectares in Tulsipur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Faruhwa depends on Pachperwa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Faruhwa's pin code is 271215[4], and village code is 06680800. The area of Faruhwa is segregated as 34 hectares irrigated area, 156.4 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 34.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.
