Faredpur is a small village of 143.7 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Faredpur depends on BHEETI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Faredpur's pin code is 224141[4], and village code is 06116200. The area of Faredpur is segregated as 79 hectares irrigated area, 9 hectares unirrigated area. the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.
