Dumri is a small village of 496.7 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dumri depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dumri's pin code is 221701[4], and village code is 09167700. The area of Dumri is segregated as 263.518 hectares irrigated area, 144.832 hectares unirrigated area. the 44.19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 44.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dumri has One post office (Chilkahar S.O). Dumri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rasra (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
