Dighwat is a small village of 555 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dighwat depends on Tindwari (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 125.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dighwat's pin code is 210123[4], and village code is 04786500. The area of Dighwat is segregated as 400.97 hectares irrigated area. the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tindwari (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
