Dighari is a small village of 83 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dighari depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dighari's pin code is 221503[4], and village code is 05604400. The area of Dighari is segregated as 60 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell carpet and make their living.
