Dickon Mitchell is a Grenadian attorney and politician serving as Leader of the National Democratic Congress since October 2021.[1].

Early life and Education

Dickon Mitchell was born in the parish of St. David. He attended the Presentation Brothers College (Grenada) and later went on to study A-levels at the T.A. Marryshow Community College. After graduating from college, he went on to teach at the Presentation Brothers College (Grenada) for a period of 2 years before leaving to study for a law degree at the UWI Cavehill Campus and subsequently the Hugh Wooding Law School. After graduating in 2002[2] he returned to Grenada to practice law.

Politics

At the National Democratic Congress (Grenada) convention of 2021, Mitchell was elected as the party's new leader[3]
