Dhurrwan is a small village of 215 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhurrwan depends on Phulpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dhurrwan's pin code is 221503[4], and village code is 05588200. The area of Dhurrwan is segregated as 107 hectares irrigated area, 12 hectares unirrigated area. the 67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phulpur (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
