Dholiya is a small village of 2659 hectares in Dhariawad Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dholiya depends on Dhariawad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Dholiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dholiya's pin code is 313604[4], and village code is 03204200. The area of Dholiya is segregated as 51.02 hectares irrigated area, 584.05 hectares unirrigated, the 1175.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 198.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dhariawad and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
