Dhekuwari is a small village of 50 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhekuwari depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dhekuwari's pin code is 221711[4], and village code is 09134500. The area of Dhekuwari is segregated as 34.8 hectares irrigated area, 9.6 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 6.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rasra (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
