Dhaurachhiya is a small village of 204 hectares in Ramnagar Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhaurachhiya depends on Ramnagar (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhaurachhiya's pin code is 225304[4], and village code is 05730900. The area of Dhaurachhiya is segregated as 89 hectares irrigated area, 82 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ramnagar (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
