Dhaulasar is a small village of 3139 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhaulasar depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhaulasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhaulasar's pin code is 345025[4], and village code is 02062200. The area of Dhaulasar is segregated as 13 hectares irrigated area, 1517 hectares unirrigated, the 1559 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50 hectare area not available for cultivation.
