Dhaorua is a small village of 227 hectares in Jalalpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhaorua depends on Jalalpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dhaorua's pin code is 224159[4], and village code is 06092900. The area of Dhaorua is segregated as 123 hectares irrigated area, 20 hectares unirrigated area. the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalalpur (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
