Dhanuri is a small village of 1051 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhanuri depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 104.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhanuri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhanuri's pin code is 333011[4], and village code is 00674700. The area of Dhanuri is segregated as 164 hectares irrigated area, 815 hectares unirrigated, the 48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhunjhunu to sell earthen pot and make their living.
