Dewara is a small village of 438.7 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewara depends on Nanpara (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dewara's pin code is 271881[4], and village code is 06441800. The area of Dewara is segregated as 235.18 hectares irrigated area, 144.8 hectares unirrigated area. the 2.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Dewara has One post office (Devra B.O). Dewara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Dewara is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3132 and has total administration over 644 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nanpara (MB) and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
