Dewapur is a small village of 124 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dewapur depends on Katragilabsingh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dewapur's pin code is 221505[4], and village code is 05391200. The area of Dewapur is segregated as 236 hectares irrigated area.
