Devhata is a small village of 147.9 hectares in Burhanpur Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Devhata depends on Ahraura MB, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Devhata's pin code is 223221[4], and village code is 08549300. The area of Devhata is segregated as 109.584 hectares irrigated area, 2.153 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 18.454 hectare area not available for cultivation.
