Derak is a small village of 204.9 hectares in Bah Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Derak depends on Bah (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Derak's pin code is 283104[4], and village code is 01644100. The area of Derak is segregated as 172 hectares irrigated area, 47 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Derak has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Derak is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1136 and has total administration over 180 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bah (MB) and Agra to sell milk solid and make their living.
