Deodhia is a small village of 480 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Deodhia depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Deodhia's pin code is 221711[4], and village code is 09132200. The area of Deodhia is segregated as 450.81 hectares irrigated area, 30 hectares unirrigated area. the 12.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Deodhia has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Deodhia is a census village in the district of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3118 and has total administration over 501 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rasra (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
