Delmer Darion
Delmer Darion is the West Midlands-born, North London-based experimental electronic music project of Tom Lenton and Oliver Jack, named after the character in Paul Thomas Magnolia[1]. Their debut album, Morning Pageants, was released on 16 October 2020 by UK label and management company, Practise Music.
The album garnered critical acclaim upon its release, with Electronic Sound magazine calling it "one of those rare, underground paradigm shifts in electronic music"[2] and NME declaring it "a thought-provoking and totally unique body of work" in its four star review[3].
An accompanying 12" of remixes and reworks was released by Practise Music to celebrate a year of Morning Pageants, on 12 November 2021, featuring contributions from Joseph Shabason, Rachika Nayar, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, Lucy Gooch, Imogen tv, r beny and Squid (band) Anton Pearson, leading Clash (magazine) to say "Delmer Darion's extraordinary debut album was one of 2020's most slept-on full length projects."
