Dara Pur is a small village of 199 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dara Pur depends on Banki (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dara Pur's pin code is 225001[4], and village code is 05765900. The area of Dara Pur is segregated as 175 hectares irrigated area, 8.3 hectares unirrigated area. the 5.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
