Claassen J.P.D. : Researcher in Psychology at University of Cape town(1950 - 1970). He published a Supermind course in 1972. He did research and also published several guides on Memory improvement, psychological adjustment, problem solving and speed reading. One of his most successful, yet forgotten discoveries was the variation method[1] which allowed slow learners to learn 6 times faster. He discovered that when we learn sequentially the brain erase the 85% of the previous learning session and therefore sequential learning will make it very difficult to learn new information. We should rather learn in a dissociative way , which let us learn much faster and retain much more information at a later stage. This discovery also allows us to solve problems much faster, because we do not associate the information only with adjacent information, but rather allow the brain to associate the new information with a wider variety of stored information, resulting in an increased intelligence.

These guides are available at several libraries in South Africa, mentioned in the references below[2] and [3]
