Chorbana is a small village of 117 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chorbana depends on Sirsa (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Chorbana is segregated as 107 hectares irrigated area. the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirsa (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
