Chitanhara is a small village of 64.18 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chitanhara depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chitanhara's pin code is 221712[4], and village code is 09146700. The area of Chitanhara is segregated as 53 hectares irrigated area, 11.14 hectares unirrigated area.
