Chirraiya is a small village of 145.2 hectares in Balrampur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chirraiya depends on BHAGOTIGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chirraiya's pin code is 271201[4], and village code is 06635300. The area of Chirraiya is segregated as , 39.96 hectares unirrigated area. the 39.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 105.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHAGOTIGANJ and Balrampur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
